F.A.I.R. , or "Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini", is an Italian company specializing in the manufacturing of hunting and competition over/under shotguns. At the SHOT Show 2020 , F.A.I.R. presented a new member of the Carrera over/unders family, the One HR model in 12/76 gauge.
Sporting Carrera ONE HR 12/76 details
The Carrera One HR is a product
designed for the American market,
as you can tell immediately from the ventilated and finely checkered rib, 0.4” / 11 mm wide and 0.6”/15 mm high, which US shooters love a lot.
The Carrera One HR's receiver is made from forged steel with blued finish, with the model name and clay images inlaid in gold and triple-depth laser engraving that make this over-under aesthetics really captivating. The locking lugs are oversized to ensure maximum durability.
As befits a Sporting rifle,
trigger is single-selective,
with a selector integrated in the sliding safety.
The barrels measure 30” / 76 cm, they feature the proprietary X -Cones system and are chrome lined. The side ribs are ventilated and concave.
Sight is fiber optic.
The barrels are ready for the mounting of interchangeable Technichoke Sporting XP70 chokes, which are supplied (five different values).
The Montecarlo-type stock is European walnut wood with an ergonomic design and
XR-STOCK system that allows for height, right and left cast and drop adjustment.
The polished stock is oil-finished, with laser checkering on the grip surfaces. A special double-ventilated recoil pad noticeably reduces felt recoil on the shooter's shoulder.
