Every year, the American magazine Guns & Ammo, founded in 1958, awards prizes for the best guns in different categories.
This year, the introduction of the "air gun" category in Guns & Ammo's historic award is an important novelty, allowing the Stoeger XM1 Scout to excel among the most innovative and cutting-edge products available in 2024. The Stoeger XM1 Scout pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle (PCP) fully met the rigorous requirements set by the Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) in Grand Junction, Colorado, earning the well-deserved award. OSG is the largest media company devoted to the outdoors in the United States, with over ten print magazines devoted to shooting sports and hunting and four thematic television channels.
The Stoeger XM1 Scout 2024 Air Gun of the Year
The Stoeger XM1 Scout is a PCP air rifle available in 4.5 mm (12-round magazine), 5.5 mm (10-round magazine) or 6.35 mm (9-round magazine) with a 460 mm floating barrel and built-in decompression chamber. Like its Ranger sibling, which has a longer barrel, the Stoeger XM1 Scout features a stock that is fully adjustable to the shooter's body, thanks to the possibility of adjusting comb height, the LOP and interchangeable pistol grip. Trigger pull weight is adjustable from 600 g to 350 g for maximum accuracy on target and the best comfort.
