Smith & Wesson M&P15T II, an enhanced addition to the M&P modern sporting rifle series

A new addition to Smith & Wesson's popular M&P15 series of modern sporting rifles: here comes the enhanced M&P15T II in 5.56mm NATO. ”Versatile as they are reliable”, according to the manufacturer, M&P15 rifles are “built to perform multiple uses under various conditions” and are “engineered for a wide variety of recreational, sport shooting and professional applications.” 

The new M&P15T II stays true to these claims, with some highlights including a 13” M&P slim, modular free-float rail system with Magpul M-LOK capability, 2” M-LOK Picatinny-Style rail panel, folding Magpul MBUS sights and a lightweight contoured barrel. The patented S&W flash suppressor ensures better shooting comfort, as does the M&P polymer grip with four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts. 

The integral, oversized trigger guard is forges, and the 16”/406 mm barrel benefits from an Armornite finish, both interior and exterior. Stock is a Magpul CTR Carbine type. A Radian Raptor-LT charging handle provides ambidextrous manipulation.
