Blaser R8 Ultimate Silverstone, a sporty special edition
The Blaser R8 Ultimate Silverstone sports a cool design with anthracite-colored suede stock inlays and a silver-grey anodised receiver. The latter has also received a matt brushing for a satin-like finish – the same satin finish can be found on the brushed matte trigger guard, with a nice contrast with the diamond-like carbon (DLC) finish of the trigger. The shiny bolt handle ball and bolt head are also protected by a DLC coating. The fluted short barrel comes with a muzzle thread.
The laser- made “R8 Silverstone" name is on the matt brushed pistol grip cap, while on the forearm the Argali is immortalised by ceramic printing. The iconic logo is also found under the cocking slide and has been finished in signal red for the first time. A black Argali also adorns the receiver instead of the usual R8 logo.
Chambered in .308 Win. and 8.5x55, the R8 Ultimate Silverstone is initially offered as a right-hand version and is also available as a Silence model.
R8 Ultimate Rose, feminine details
The R8 Ultimate Rose Ladies Edition, on the other hand, features a feminine rosé in many details. Here the Argali logo is shown in rosé on the adjustment button for the adjustable comb and on the receiver (instead of the usual R8 logo). Again in rosé, the Ladies Edition lettering is complemented with arabesques on the black pistol grip cap. Other special features include a rifle sling made of anthracite-coloured suede with the rosé lettering "Ladies Edition" and contrast stitching – the same used for the anthracite-colored suede stock inserts. The steel bolt handle ball is decorated with a flower, while a knurled profile makes it particularly easy to handle for fast repeating.
Taking the female silhouette into account and to enable more huntresses to achieve a perfect shooting position right away, the Ladies Edition is equipped with the Compact recoil pad. Like the Ultimate Silverstone version, the rifle is also available in the Silence version and is offered in .308 Win. and 8.5x55 calibers.
Both the R8 Ultimate Silverstone and the Ultimate Rose rifles will be available from May 2023.
