ACP, a division of Chiappa Firearms, presented its Laser Training System at Enforce TAC 2017. The system is designed to give operators the most real-life experience possible during training.
The system is based on the "Action Vest", a vest with panels that are sensitive to the Laser beam wavelengths from the firearms' conversion emitters.
The Action Vest is available in three different models, each of which has different-sized photosensitive panels. When the Laser beam hits the vest, a red light and a buzzer warns the operator they’ve been hit, and the vest vibrates to give a feedback of the hit even if there’s a lot of background noise.
A wireless detector system allows the instructor to monitor the activity of over one hundred operators simultaneously, showing their position and who has been hit. The Laser Training System can be used with blowback airsoft handguns fitted with the R.E.A.L. conversion and SureStrike Laser cartridges, or with a TRS conversion for firearms.
Another CO2-powered system called VRS (Versatile Recoil System) lets you transform over 50 handguns into Laser emitters. The Laser Training System and all the above conversions are distributed by ACP.
