Just a couple of months ago, Wilson Combat introduced their grip modules for the increasingly popular SIG P320 pistol. Now, in collaboration with SIG Sauer, Wilson unveils a new enhanced version of the P320, the WCP320. Chambered in 9mm, the new gun includes a lot of interesting features. According to the manufacturer's claims, “Wilson Combat gunsmiths and engineers have completely reworked the Sig Sauer P320 chassis and unfinished Sig manufactured slides into our ideal version of a perfected high-performance striker-fired pistol”.
WCP320 pistol, an “ergonomic shooting machine”
“Tailored and tuned for precision tactical pistol shooting”, the WCP320 is built on the Wilson Combat P320 Carry Grip Module (which is available with a choice of black or tan color), to which they added a Wilson Combat X-TAC P320 beveled slide. The newly designed grip module by Wilson should allow for improved pointability and recoil control, turning the gun into an “ergonomic shooting machine”.
Both the stainless steel slide and cro-moly steel 4.7” barrel are black DLC finished for corrosion and abrasion resistance. Wilson's “enhanced” P320 also sports their signature X-TAC pattern front and rear cocking serrations for improved manipulation under stress, with an X-TAC patterned slide top too.
SIG Sauer flat-faced X-Full steel trigger is standard on the WCP320. Thanks to an increased leverage, it provides a lighter and smoother trigger pull. The WCP320 package is rounded off by Wilson Combat Battlesight with red fiber optic front sight, a beveled magazine well and a dust cover rail for mounting lights or lasers.
The new WCP320 has a special serial number range with WC prefix and comes with two 17-round X-Series Magazines for a base price of 1195 USD. Grayguns SIG Sauer P320 Competition Trigger System with curved or straight trigger pad is available for an extra 155 USD.
