New from Volquartsen: Mini Scorpion-X .22 LR target pistol

Described as premium target pistols for ultimate accuracy and performance”, back in 2022  Volquartsen introduced the 4.5" Scorpion-X and 6" Scorpion-X models to their line of .22 LR rimfire pistols. For this summer 2024  Volquartsen announces the addition of the Mini Scorpion-X to the Scorpion line of .22 LR pistols.

Volquartsen's Mini Scorpion-X  features a 1/2 x 28 threaded stainless steel 3" barrel with stainless steel laser-hardened breech within a Type III hard anodized aluminum shroud.

The new Mini Scorpion-X pistol uses the new Mini Scorpion-X LLV upper with Universal Red Dot mount: it has multiple hole mounting locations allowing for a variety of popular red dots to be mounted directly to the top of the upper. The idea is to keep the red dot mounted as low as possible on the bore axis for faster sight acquisition. Pre-installed filler screws on all optic mounting holes are included. The Mini Scorpion-X is compatible with the following optics: Burris Fast Fire, C-More RTS 2, C-More Slide Ride, JP Enterprises Jpoint, Leupold DeltaPoint, Shield Sights Mini Sight, Sig Sauer Romeo 1 Pro, Sig Sauer Romeo 3 Max, Sig Sauer Romeo 3 XL, Trijicon RMR, Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Vortex Razor.

Among the Mini Scorpion-X features, you will find a 1/2 x 28 threaded stainless steel 3" barrel with stainless steel laser-hardened breech within a Type III hard anodized aluminum shroud, accurizing Kit for a 2.25 lb trigger pull, DLC-coated competition bolt, single-port compensator or thread protector, CNC-machined, black anodized aluminum, 1911 style VC Target Frame. Magazine capacity is 10 rounds.

The Mini Scorpion-X LLV upper with Universal Red Dot mount featuring multiple hole mounting locations allows for a variety of popular red dots to be mounted directly to the top of the upper. It is also available as a stand-alone product for the Ruger MKII, MKIII, and prior Scorpion .22 LR models.
Options such as sights, grips, and compensators are available, allowing you to tailor the Volquartsen Mini Scorpion-X to your specific needs.

The receiver and barrel shroud are precision-machined as one piece from aluminum,and the integral Picatinny rail is machined into the top of the receiver. The precision stainless steel barrel has been machine-honed and lapped, and contoured to reduce weight without sacrificing accuracy. Options such as sights, grips, and compensators are available, allowing you to tailor the Scorpion to your specific needs.

The Scorpion LLV Competition Upper also features a stainless steel breech face designed to withstand years of use both in practice and on the range!

The new  Volquartsen Mini Scorpion-X is priced in the US at 1,453. The Mini Scorpion-X LLV upper is also available as a stand-alone product for the Ruger MKII, MKIII, and prior Scorpion .22 LR models, with a US MSRP of $529.
