SIG Sauer's P322 rimfire pistol family grows with the addition of the P322-COMP; a .22 LR gun “built for the range” and designed “with features that make it even more fun to plink with and competition ready right out of the box”. The two-tone finish (including a clear anodized alloy slide paired with a black polymer grip module) and the factory-installed ROMEOZero ELITE 3 MOA red dot for fast target acquisition are the most conspicuous features.
SIG Sauer P322-COMP, with two-port compensator
The new P322-COMP comes factory with a barrel-mounted two-port compensator for reduced muzzle rise, slide-mounted racker, 25-round extended magazine for increased capacity, as well as a sport takedown lever and extended mag release for quicker operation.
The ambidextrous slide mounted racker ensures effortless slide manipulation. Flat / curved triggers types are both included. All these features make the P322-COMP “a fast, fun, and flat pistol to plink with,” in the words of Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG Sauer.
The SIG Sauer P322-COMP's 25+1 round capacity is class-leading. A 20 round magazine is also part of the package. Besides the already mentioned extended magazine catch and sport takedown lever, the polymer grip module also features ambidextrous controls, an adjustable trigger shoe, a 1913 accessory rail, and an integrated magwell for lightning-fast magazine changes.
The single action only is hammer-fired and is completely enclosed in the two-tone competition alloy slide. The pistol is equipped with a high visibility fiber-optic front sight. Barrel is 4”/101-mm long.
