They gave you the P320-AXG Classic, then the AXG Pro and – through the SIG Custom Works – the AXG Scorpion and the AXG Equinox. After announcing it at SHOT Show 2023 early this year, SIG Sauer now welcomes another member of the P320 AXG (Alloy XSeries Grip) metal grip module family, the full-size P320-AXG Legion.
SIG Sauer P320-AXG Legion, “a shooting experience like no other pistol in its class”
Based on input from elite shooting professionals, the Legion line of products is the pinnacle of SIG Sauer performance and engineering. Chambered in 9mm caliber, the P320-AXG Legion is a striker-fired pistol that utilizes the AXG all-metal grip module finished in the distinctive Legion Gray Cerakote Elite, fitted with exclusive custom Hogue G10 grips with the Legion chevron logo and an extended and removable magwell for fast & easy reloads. Magazine capacity is an impressive 21 rounds (10-round magazine are also available). New front and rear serrations stand out on the slide.
The P320-AXG Legion is optic-ready and can accommodate the SIG Sauer ROMEO1Pro and ROMEO2 red dot optics as well as the Deltapoint Pro, and Trijicon RMR. The new pistol also features a two-port slide integrated expansion chamber for recoil mitigation which, according to SIG, combined with the X-Series Grip module should deliver a 30% felt recoil reduction “for a shooting experience like no other pistol in its class”.
The pistol is equipped with the XSeries flat skeletonized trigger and XRay3 Day/Night Sights, while a precision machined deep undercut and an extended beavertail ensure comfortable ergonomics.
Besides this, the SIG Sauer Legion is also an exclusive members-only access program available to owners of the SIG Sauer Legion Series of firearms. Upon registration of any Legion Series firearm, members receive a complimentary case, a challenge coin matched to the firearm, exclusive access to Legion gear and merchandise, and receive exclusive communications from SIG Sauer and the Legion.
The P320-AXG Legion ships with (3) 21-round steel magazines or (3) 10-round magazines.
