SIG Sauer is redesigning the trusted P226 and bringing it back under the "Legion" brand. Two new variants are shown at the IWA OutdoorClassics 2016: the first one, available in 9 x 19 mm, .357 Sig and .40 S&W, is very close to the original duty pistol expanding the available calibers of the original chambered only in 9mm luger.
The second variant, only available in 9x19mm, is redesigned for Single-Action-Only (SAO).
Both variants will feature a grey surface coating, the popular X-Ray3 Day/Night sights and bear the impressive "Legion" logo on top of the slide.
The new P226 Legion is scheduled for release this very year and comes at an MRSP of €1999. Three magazines will be included.
Additionally, SIG Sauer announced the release of the P229 under the Legion brand and with the same configuration.
