The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinements todayʼs shooters demand.
The 1911 Fastback Nightmare pistol from SIG-Sauer, features a stainless steel frame with rounded grip and mainspring housing.
Each pistol is built using premium internal parts including a match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. The all Nitron coated frame and slide is contrasted with natural stainless controls, barrel bushing extractor and grips screws.
The Nightmare is finished with a set of black Hogue G10 double diamond grips that makes this 1911 SIG-Sauer looks as good as it performs.
The overall length of the Nightmare is 8.7 inches with a 5,5 inches overall height; it is 1.4 inch wide and features a match-grade 5” barrel. Weight with magazine stands at about 41,6 oz., while the single action only trigger weight pull doesnʼt exceed 5 lbs.
As every other SIG-Sauer 1911, the Nightmare includes match-grade sear, barrel and trigger components, and also features skeletonized hammer and trigger with an overtravel adjustment screw that are left in natural stainless
Obviously chambered in .45 ACP, the Nightmare features SIGLITE low-profile night sights and the beavertail grip safety. The magazine holds 8 rounds.
