Say goodbye to the old Stance and welcome the new Stance XR: Savage introduces the new line of 9mm micro-compact everyday carry pistols.
The new series adds some enhancements and improve over the previous Stance series presented in 2021. In common with the old models, the latest Stance XR versions have a polymer frame and a stainless-steel slide with distinctive ported serrations, aggressive surface textures that wraps 360 degrees and with finger indexing on both sides, and a removable chassis as the serialized component of the pistol for interchageable grips – two 18° interchangeable backstraps to adjust grip size are included. The 3.2”/81 mm stainless steel barrel is the same too.
What's new is a differently beveled stainless-steel slide front for easier holstering, and a 10+1 or 13+1 (with magazine extension) capacity, plus a Picatinny rail section for mounting accessories. The trigger is different too, featuring a short reset and rounded wide face with built-in safety blade. Also new is the Quick Release Optics (QRO) plate for mounting red dots.

Savage Stance XR, five variants and three colors available
The new Savage Stance XR is an easily concealable gun. The ergonomic grip makes it comfortable when firing too, while the Quick Release Optics (QRO) plate makes installing and removing optics simple and quick.
Five variants and three color options are available: you can have your Stance pistol in a standard version, with factory-mounted night sights, or with ambidextrous manual safety: the latter is also available with night sights or with a Crimson Trace CTS-1500 Red Dot (Stance XR Manual Safety XP model).
As for the frame color, you can choose between black, gray and FDE. Slide is matte black nitrided. A takedown lever makes disassembly quite easy. MSRPs in the US start from $469 for the standard version (with or without manual safety), $539 for the Stance XR Night Sights, up to $659 for the Stance XR Manual Safety XP with Crimson Trace CTS-1500 Red Dot.
