A nickel plated finish for all Rex Zero pistols, both in standard and compact sizes. FIME Group, manufacturer, importer of the Rex pistol series, is offering new versions of these 9mm hammer-fired pistols patterned after the popular SIG Sauer design and manufactured in Slovenia by Arex. The standard model Rex pistol is now available with a nickel plated slide and black frame (Rex Zero1S-08) or with nickel plated frame, slide, barrel and black chrome hardware (Rex Zero1S-06). The coating is obtained by a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process.
Rex Zero with nickel plated frame and/or slide
The standard Rex is a 17-round, 4.25” barreled 9mm pistol with 5.7" height and weighing 29 oz without magazine.
The 1S-08 model offers the same features as the original Rex Zero1S with the addition of a nickel plated steel slide (Nickel PVD) with solid bar stock. The recommended price is 715.00 USD.
The 1S-06 model features a nickel plated (Nickel PVD) T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert, nickel plated (Nickel PVD) steel slide - solid bar stock, Black Chrome Hardware, and cold hammer forged barrel made from solid bar stock and nickel plated (Nickel PVD).
All this come for a price of 789.00 USD. The nickel plated Rex pistol 1S models now features a new contoured grip too.
Nickel plated variant for Rex Zero 1CP
Last summer Arex added the compact Rex Zero 1CP (compact model). FIME Group is offering the nickel plated option also for this variant. The compact Rex model is a 15-round, 3.85” barreled 9mm pistol with a height of 5.1 inches and weight of 25.12 oz without magazine. The 1CP-08 model has the same specs and features as the Rex Zero 1CP except for the addition of the nickel plated steel slide (Nickel PVD) with solid bar stock on a black frame. Price is 715.00 USD.
The 1CP-06 model also offers a nickel plated (Nickel PVD) steel slide but with a nickel plated (Nickel PVD) T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert.
