A modern take on a SIG classic that “blends classic styling with modern performance”: SIG Custom Works introduces a new Equinox Series with the P226 Equinox and P229 Equinox. The two pistols are limited-edition and feature the popular two-tone, contrasting finish originally introduced over a decade ago for the iconic P226 and P229 pistols.

“An exciting addition”
“This is an exciting addition to the SIG Custom Works series of pistols, and a must have for SIG aficionados and collectors alike,” says Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales.
Technically, the SIG Custom Works P226 and P229 Equinox are 9mm hammer-fired pistols – the P226 is a full-size gun, while the P229 is the 0.6”/16mm shorter, compact model. Frame is black anodized metal that, together with a logo-engraved Nitron stainless steel slide, achieves the distinctive two-tone finish. Nickel controls and screws add a further accent. Other features include X-RAY 3 Day/Night Sights, Hogue classic contour SL G-10 grips, and a short reset trigger. The P226 and P229 Equinox pistols also come in a Negrini SIG Custom Works case, with three 15-round magazines, a challenge coin, and an official SIG Custom Works Certificate of Authenticity.
