Beretta 92X Performance, made for competition

Everything about the 9mm Beretta 92X Performance has been designed for competition: the first feature that stands out is the Vertec steel frame with a straight back strap. Thanks also to the use of a reinforced Brigadier slide, the 92X weighs  47.61 oz / 1350 grams, which contributes a great deal to making the gun stable when shooting and reducing felt recoil and muzzle flip.

The right side of the Beretta 92X Performance: the Picatinny rail on the front frame section and the redesigned trigger are highlighted. The safety on the frame is ambidextrous.

The micrometer adjustable rear sight is combined with an adjustable fiber optic front sight, the “saw tooth” cocking serrations are also present on the front slide section, allowing for perfect handling even in the hectic phases of dynamic shooting competitions. Safety, magazine release and hold open controls are oversized, while the magazine well is flared to facilitate faster reload. The magazine features a rubber pad to ensure a firm grip. The pistol comes with two 15-round magazines.
The ambidextrous safety lever is located on the frame and is available in three different size profiles, making it adaptable to various hand types and different IPSC divisions.
The frame is Vertex type, i.e. with a straight backstrap, extended beaver tail and front and rear checkering. The dust cover features the now ubiquitous Picatinny rail for the mounting of accessories

Beretta 92X Performance's Extreme-S trigger

The Beretta 92X Performance has a black burnished barrel and a Nistan finish on frame and slide surfaces. The Nistan treatment involves plating the steel surfaces with a tin (65%) and nickel (35%) alloy, giving the surfaces a bright look and excellent corrosion resistance.
The new Extreme-S trigger mechanism decreases trigger reset by up to 40%, coupling it with a pull weight of 52.9 oz / 1.5 kg in single action and 105.8 oz / 3 kg in double action.
The 92X Performance also allows you to adjust  trigger pre-travel and extra-travel via two screws located inside the frame, close to the upper section of the magazine well.

The area where the finger rests on the trigger is checkered and was redesigned to achieve a vertical front profile in single action.

The Beretta 92X Performance is already available at a price of around 1500 euro (as usual, price may vary in your country due to VAT and import duty).
