If your revolver is a combination of unique gunsmithing, “Made in Germany” technical perfection and exquisite aesthetics, it will probably be a Korth. And if you add to this exclusive details and tactical features, you are probably holding a Korth/Nighthawk Custom revolver in your hand. In a partnership with Korth, last year Nighthawk Custom announced the introduction of four new revolvers in .357 Magnum: a couple of weeks ago they released their latest model, the Korth Ranger.
Korth Ranger, refined technology and striking features
Available exclusively through Nighthawk Custom, the Korth Ranger is a functional 4”/101 mm barrel revolver that incorporates a Picatinny rail on top for mounting optics, and below for mounting a light/laser. All parts are fully machined – a Korth's trademark – and hand-fitted by expert gunsmiths in Germany.
The most striking feature is a skeletonized barrel shroud. Through the precisely machined shroud windows you can get a glimpse of a cold-forged, polished Lothar Walther barrel. Trigger is double action/single action, and the adjustable rear sight (left-right & up-down) is coupled with a fast changeable front sight. The latter is very well protected by sturdy side panels (ears) that can be removed for different disciplines. Consistent with the overall quality of the gun, Jim Wilson Turkish walnut grips are standard and provide a pleasing contrast with the DLC finished metals surfaces.
Caliber is .357 Magnum, but a 9mm Luger interchangeable cylinder (no clips needed) is also available.
Price for the Korth Ranger starts at 4799 USD – not cheap, but consistent with a premium revolver.
