Hunters in America will soon be able to take advantage of the newly announced Victory V8 illuminated riflescope line from Carl Zeiss Sport Optics. At the 2016 edition of the Shot Show, Zeiss showcased the full line of Victory V8 riflescopes, composed of four magnification range models: 1-8x32, 1.8-14x50, 2.8-20x56 and 4.8-35x60. Select models include the new ASV bullet drop compensator.
Featuring an impressive 8x zoom ratio, the Victory V8 line of riflescopes all also have in common a 36mm maintube, a high quality HT glass system with fluoride lenses and LotuTec coating on all external lenses.
The V8 combines high zoom ratio and the brightest optics into the ultimate all-purpose riflescope, with models tailored for all distances and situations, including but not limited to hunting, shooting sports competition, and target shooting.
The Victory V8 features advanced technologies, such as the new ASV bullet drop compensator, a 36mm tube diameter to provide a substantial increase in the elevation adjustment range, a fiber optical light system that limits the dot size to only 3 millimeter subtension coverage at 100 yards. The multifunction brightness control is digital; an integrated motion sensor turns the illuminated dot off as soon as the rifle is put down. Commercial availability and pricing information will be available soon.
