Shooting Illustrated, the official journal of the National Rifle Association (NRA), has selected Steiner’s P4Xi riflescope as the 2018 “Optic of the Year”. The P4Xi will receive a 2018 NRA Golden Bullseye Award at the upcoming NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits that will take place on May 3-6 in Dallas, Texas.

The P4Xi riflescope is a compact tactical optic with an interesting fiber optic illumination system. Steiner’s P3TR illuminated reticle - an etched reticle that has built-in ballistic drop compensation - is in fact really effective even in broad daylight and quick pointing. It offers 11 levels of illumination, five daytime, four low-light and two night vision settings, with an OFF position between each setting, making the riflescope perfect for any situation, day or night.
Thanks to its reduced dimension the P4Xi is ideal for patrol rifles and AR platforms. Its proven and versatile 4x zoom system with a true 1x is perfect for close-quarters engagements and 400-yard accuracy at the highest magnification. Poor light conditions are no problem either, since high-contrast optics deliver outstanding results. For a true medium range option, the P4Xi also comes in a 4-16x56 version that includes an illuminated front focal plane Special Competition Reticle and side parallax adjustment housed in a 34mm tube.
Lastly, having a MSRP of 666.99 USD the P4Xi is not expensive, which is always a positive feature for a quality product.
