American manufacturer SIG Sauer introduces yet another series of variable magnification riflescopes in the high-performance Tango line, specifically built for professional and tactical use: many models out of the Tango line are already in use across all American military services, not counting all the LE departments and agencies in the USA. The new series is called Tango-DMR and includes, at launch, two models, a 3-18x44 mm and a 5-30x56 mm.
SIG Sauer Tango-DMR: precision and versatility
SIG Sauer claims that the new Tango-DMR offers exceptional clarity, precision, and ultimate versatility that’s equally suited for professional use, backcountry hunting and long-range competition. While the compact 3-18x allows for precise target engagement from 50 to 800 meters, the larger 5-30x unit provides unrivaled accuracy up to 2,000 meters with high powered rifles and appropriate ammunition.
The Tango-DMR sport many features such as a military-inspired locking illumination control, allowing the shooter to quickly adjust and lock the scope's brightness settings in any lighting condition, an exposed multi-lock elevation dial with zero stop and a new proprietary multi lock system that allows for precise adjustments on the fly. The Tango -DMR gives the shooter a crucial advantage in the field, and at the same time are rugged, shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof to withstand any environment.
Both SIG Sauer Electro-Optics Tango-DMR riflescopes feature an illuminated, first focal plane MRAD or MOA Milling 2.0 reticle and 6x optical zoom ratio, and optical elements feature SIG Sauer HDX glass. All TANGO-DMR riflescopes feature an ultralight design, a multi-stop zero stop multi lock elevation dial, locking illumination control, a low profile, capped windage dial, removable throw lever mount, 34 mm maintube, and are compatible with SIG Sauer Electro-Optics Alpha scope rings.
Like all SIG Sauer Electro-Optics the Tango-DMR series of riflescopes includes the Infinite Guarantee, an unlimited lifetime guarantee that requires no warranty or receipt should your optic need to be repaired or replaced at any time. Pricing in the U.S. is $1,499.99 for the Tango-DMR 5-30x56mm and $1,299.99 for the Tango-DMR 3-18x44mm.
