Like every year since 2009 (2021 was an exception due to the pandemic), in 2024 the British Shooting Show is taking place from February 23 to 25. And again, it is held in Birmingham (United Kingdom), at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) – UK's best-connected venue. In case you still don't know what it is, suffice it to say that the British Shooting Show (or BSS for short) is the UK’s largest trade and retail shooting and field sports event, boasting over 400 exhibitors, more than 2,000 brands and over 40,000 anticipated visitors.
British Shooting Show: “Shotgun Show, Rifle Show and Airgun Show all under one roof”
With a wide range of exhibitors and demonstrations, from shotguns to rifles, from optics, airguns and gunmaking heritage, the BSS is the place where you can find new products and meet all the major British and international manufacturers/distributors.
But not just that: the Gamekeeping area is an extremely busy section of the British Shooting Show with a wealth of specialist products, services and accessories for gamekeepers and estate owners. There you will find pest control and trapping supplies to protect valuable game birds, both wild and reared birds from rats, corvids and of course foxes.
The Tactical Training Area at the British Shooting Show, on the other hand, is built to simulate tactical scenarios where you will be able to navigate the corridors engaging targets using Airsoft M4 rifles and gas blow back pistols kindly supplied by NUPROL under the instruction of ex-SAS and Private Military Contractor Phil “Big Phil” Campion.
Lastly, if you are a Wild West and old guns enthusiast, you will appreciate the Winchester Collection, a privately owned gun collection whose only annual public appearance is at the British Shooting Show.
New at the British Shooting Show 2024: Blackout Night Vision and Thermal ranges
The 2024 edition of the British Shooting Show is adding “an electrifying experience” with the Blackout Night Vision and Thermal ranges, where you can “dive into the darkness and witness the cutting-edge night vision and thermal optics that will leave you in awe”.
From thermal targets to scenes shrouded in darkness, you can stay assured that it will be real fun.
From February 23 to 25, 2024, the show will be open from 9 am to 4 pm each day.
