The IMR Enduron series is a perfect complement to the still available Hodgdon rifle powders like Lil'Gun, LeverEvolution, CFE223, Superformance and US869.
Hodgdon powders for pistols and revolvers
All known Hodgdon propellants including the new CFE Pistol are available for handgun shooters. At Winchester the following powder types are available: WST, WSF, WSH, 231, 296 and AutoComp. The IMR line consists of:
700-x, 800-x, recently extended by IMR Blue. This clean-burning powder, which is easy to process in powder measures and dispensers, is very similar to Alliant Blue Dot in burning speed, although it goes without saying that as a responsible reloader you always start with a moderate load. Loading data is available for: .38 Special, .38 Special+P, .40 S&W and .45 Auto. By the way, the black powder substitutes Hodgdon Pyrodex P, Pyrodex RS, Pyrodex Select, Triple Seven FFg and FFFg are still available. The propellants from Hodgdon, IMR and Winchester are supplied in the usual 454-gram cans.
