It is a pretty curious fact that the latest rifle in Savage's 110 series – the new 110 PPR (Professional Pursuit Rifle) – has been designed with the expertise and passion of an English restaurateur (and hunter): Chef Mike Robinson, one of Britain's most prominent game chefs. In a quest to harvest the finest ingredients for his dishes, Mike with his team controls the wild game and boar on over 60,000 acres of private land in the UK and supplies his four restaurants with venison and sustainably sourced game meat.
“What I and my team of deer managers needed was a rifle that was perfectly balanced, light enough to carry all day, highly accurate, and robust enough to stand up to hard abuse,” he explains. And, guess what? Those are are exactly the key features of the Savage 110 PPR rifle.
