RWS Evolution Green for 2020: new bullet weight, new trendy 6.5 Creedmoor caliber and additional lead-free Short Rifle variants

For all those who don't shoot traditional, leaded hunting ammunition, with the Evolution Green RWS has been offering for a few years now the smartest alternative for hunters when lead-free ammo is or has to be used. Thanks to sophisticated and finely tuned special features in the construction, the manufacturer guarantees that its bullets will have a proper and efficient effect when hunting within the recommended ranges of use and distances. The bullet cores of the EVO Green are made of food-safe tin. Thanks to a special pre-fragmentation of the front bullet core and the use of the new RWS Speed-Tip bullet tip, the RWS Evolution Green features a very effective bullet – especially at longer shooting ranges. Of course, the lead-free Evolution Green bullet also offers the usual advantages of every RWS rifle cartridge: reliable, accurate and gentle on the barrel.

Driven by the pursuit of innovation, RWS made its own claim to constantly improve the products offered on the market. Therefore, for 2020 the bullet weight available in .308 Win., .30-06, .30R Blaser and .300 Win. Mag. will be increased from the original 8.8 g to 9.0 g. In addition, the percentage of fragmentation of the front pre-fragmented tin core has been reduced. This offers the following advantage in hunting practice: greater depth effect with better protection of game. Too many splinters should be a thing of the past.

New at RWS EVO Green for 2020:

The increasingly popular 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. Additional calibers are also available in the RWS Short Rifle Line: .308 Win. and .30-06.

The effect-plus: outstanding impact behavior thanks to the hollow-point / multiple pre-fragmentation of the front tin core and the Speed-Tip bullet tip for reliable and high impact shock. This results in significantly shorter flight distances and less searching.

The range-plus: effective target ballistics even at long shooting ranges. With conventional bullet designs, there is a tangible decrease in deformation capability at long distances. Not so with the EVO Green from RWS. This effect is significantly reduced by the particularly intelligent bullet design.

Rapid ballistics: flat trajectory with high speed and energy through optimized bullet shape (high BC value) thanks to the innovative Speed-Tip bullet tip.

Reliable and successful hunting: the stable tail body ensures a guaranteed exit wound for reliable blood flow. The sharp edge  of the EVO Green also delivers the desired clean cut.
