Facing the hunting terrain with the most suitable clothing can be as decisive as choosing the right cartridge, which is why selecting the outfit, i.e. the various garments and accessories, is a laborious operation, but fortunately the Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta offers a number of sets in its fall-winter 2024 collection designed down to the smallest detail for the most diverse and extreme hunting situations. The one we are presenting is called Mull Insulated and is specially designed for hunting in outdoor environments with low temperatures. Let's analyse its main components.

Beretta Mull Insulated Jacket
The main component of the outfit we are presenting is the Mull Insulated hooded jacket, designed for hide hunting or stalking in outdooor environments where you need to be completely silent and stay dry. It is waterproof, noiseless, thermal and breathable, thanks to the different solutions used in its construction. It is waterproof and breathable thanks to the BWB EVO (Beretta Waterproof Breathable EVO) membrane. Synthetic padding – 180 grams on the body and 160 grams on the sleeves – makes this garment extremely resistant to the cold. The outer material is Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treated, noiseless polyester gauze. The Mull Insulated jacket is available in EN 17353:2020 certified Realtree AP HD high visibility orange camo or in green moss or brown bark. List price is € 335.
Beretta Mull Insulated Pants
The ideal complement to the jacket is the men's Mull Insulated pants, which share its style and technical and ergonomic features. A Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treated polyester gauze was also chosen for this garment, which also ensures the garment's stretchiness and noiselessness. The breathable BWB EVO membrane ensures waterproofness and breathability, while thermal insulation is provided by the 120-g synthetic padding. Inside-leg stretch panels guarantee maximum freedom of movement when walking or climbing up and down.
The other components of the Mill Insulated outfit
Beretta proposes to complement this outfit with other garments that can be purchased online or in armouries, starting with the Abisko Full Zip thermal fleece made with outer knitted fabric and inside fleece and available in four colours. Close-fitting and warm, this fleece is breathable and silent, perfect for adding an extra comfortable thermal layer, easy to wear thanks to the full zip opening, but in the Beretta catalog we also find the half zip opening. Sizes range from S to 5XL.
Underneath the fleece you can wear a classic hunting shirt such as the Jargo Stretch Shirt in a polyester/elastane blend with patch chest pocket, which is also ideal for leisure and post-hunting. Let us now speak of footwear: in the Beretta catalog we find the Lowveld GTX boots designed for hunting with frequent movement in demanding environments. The upper is made of greased Nubuck leather with PU-coated suede crust leather toe caps and heels. The Gore-Tex Sierra lining ensures waterproofness and breathability and makes the boot suitable for winter climates. The Otholite 2D footbed ensures excellent internal microclimate control, breathability and hygiene. Cordura inserts maximise the boot's durability. The Polylana fibre, with the use of a recycled component, guarantees maximum softness while reducing the environmental impact during its production.
The Marten Beanie is available in blue & grey, green stone & bark or black & orange. One size fits all and the list price is 35.00 euro. If you prefer fleece instead, you can consider the Polar Beanie made of 100% recycled microfleece that is soft, warm and sustainable. Finally, let's talk about... gun outfits! The last item in today's outfit is the water resistant Packable WR Gun case 103/118cm. The two numbers allude to the length of the rifle or shotgun it can accommodate inside. The case is made of extremely quiet brushed polyester. The front and rear are reinforced with ripstop material for greater durability. The elastic drawstring at the bottom allows the case to fit most rifles and shotgun on the market.
