IWA Outdoor Classics: New rifles for 2019

IWA Outdoor Classics 2019 / Rifles: let's take a look at what we believe are the hottest and most interesting products in the show's offerings. Again, few really new products, many are revisitations of already popular and classic designs: the majority are hunting rifles, with a wink to the long range match guns, as hunting in Europe is dominant.  Completely new products come from Steyr and Daniel Defense, while Sauer, Krieghoff, Browning, Savage, Benelli, Blaser, Sabatti, Haenel, Hera Arms and Just Right feature new models - anyone should be able to find a suitable model for their tastes!

Alpen Arms STG-15 Standard rifle

The Alpen Arms STG-15 Standard is a rifle featuring a direct impingement gas system. It’s available in .223 Rem, 5.56x45mm and .300 BLK calibers.  
Benelli Argo E Fluted

The Argo E Fluted is the latest semi-automatic hunting rifle introduced by Benelli, specifically designed for driven hunting. Chambered in .308W and .30-06, it features the ComforTech system and a fluted Crio barrel that is 18.5 " / 47 cm long for improved handling in the field.

Blaser introduces the R8 Ultimate hunting rifle, setting new standards in terms of functionality and design. The ergonomically improved thumbhole stock ensures safe handling. The Haenel Jäger 10 range of bolt action rifles, is now available in eight different versions - including a Jäger 10 Lady Timber for the ladies - in different calibers and designs. Prices start at just al little more than 1000 euro; the pictured rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmore.

The new Merkel Helix Speedster is a hunting rifle designed to be accurate even on long distances with a redesigned thumbhole stock: the stock "hole" is open at the top so as not to inhibit the reloading speed of the manual in-line repeating action.
Sabatti S.A.R. Sport .223

The Sabatti S.A.R. Sport is a .223 semiautomatic rifle, with 20″ match bull barrel with fast, 1:8 Multiradial Rifling. The stock is fixed with a rear monopod. In EU, the gun is classified as a B4, and can be used for hunting. The price is just a hair below 2000 Euro.

In all its variants has been among the top hunting guns. New is this model with an adjustable wooden stock, in which the manufacturer placed the complete adjustment mechanisms inside.

The Savage Model 110 Tactical Hunter is a light bolt-action rifle with Accufit length and height-adjustable stock, adjustable AccuTrigger, and an extra-large bolt handle. This rifle is now available in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 exclusively for the European market.
