SHOT Show: New rifles and shotguns for 2020

SHOT Show 2020 / Rifles and shotguns: Let's take a look at some of the new and interesting long firearms, both rifled ans smoothbore, showcased in Las Vegas. There's a bit for everyone; from high powered precision long range rifles, clay and hunging shotguns, all the way to air guns, and even an arrow rifle!

Air Arms XTI50 competition air rifle

The Air Arms XTI50 competition air rifle. This 4.5mm caliber PCP air rifle is intended for "Field Target", using a fully-adjustable, multi-colored, laminated wood stock with a cheek rest and a butt pad derived from Olympic air rifles; the XTI50 is powered by a 250 bar titanium tubular air bottle and features a stabilizer that allows to reduce recoil. The fully-floating barrel is 494 mm long built by Lothar Walther.  
Benelli 828Uin 20 gauge

Benelli showcases its 828U chambered in 20 Gauge, available with both a 26" and 28" length barrel with a red fiber-optic front sight, and an engraved, nickel plated receiver. Stock is an AA-Grade Satin Walnut Progressive Comfort with laser checkering. MSRP is just shy of 2800 USD.
Benelli Lupo bolt action rifle

The new Benelli Lupo, the first bolt action rifle that the famous Italian manufacturer introduced at Shot. The Lupo (“wolf”, in Italian)is at this time available in .270 Win, .30-06 and .300 Win Mag calibers.

The Benelli Lupo was showcased also as a high end luxury concept gun, with classy hand-made gold inlaid engravings, top grain woods and precious finishes.
Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Long Range McMillan Tungsten Ambush rifle

The Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Long Range McMillan Tungsten Ambush rifle is designed for long range target shooting and hunting. This version comes with a "Game Scout" synthetic stock manufactured by McMillan with a textured surface on the grip areas and grey-black Urban Carbon "Ambush" camo finish.

The X-Bolt action is the heart of this rifle line. The bolt opening angle is 60° and the bolt release button is atop the oversized bolt handle. The top Picatinny rail is 20 MOA canted. This rifle is available in 6.5 Creedmore, 6.5 PRC, 7mm Rem. Mag, .300 Win. Mag. and .28 Nosler with a 26" barrel (66 cm).

The CZ 457 Varmint Precision Chassis is a .22 LR, varmint rifle featuring an aluminum chassis, 6-position stock with adjustable cheekpiece and an M-LOK slotted forend. It's available with a 16.5" and a 24" threaded muzzle barrel. This .22 LR gun is well suited to competition, hunting, practice, and fun shooting. Price is around 1000 USD.

The CZ USA Bren 2 Ms carbine is the civilian semi-auto only version of the Bren 2 assault rifle featuring a 16.5”/42 cm barrel chambered in .223 Rem. The gun uses a short-stroke gas piston system and is equipped with a folding stock; it's extremely light, ony 3250g, thanks to an aluminum upper and a lower made of carbon fiber composite. The “M” stands for "modular" and refers to the forend that can be swapped to different lengths and styles. 
FAIR Carrera One HR 12 gauge over/under shotgun

The FAIR Carrera One HR 12 gauge over/under shotgun is specifically made to excel in sporting clays competitions. Trigger is single-selective,and the sight is fiber optic. The 30” / 76 cm chrome-lined barrels feature the proprietary X -Cones system and a special 15 mm high rib; barrels are compatible with interchangeable Technichoke Sporting XP70 chokes, which are supplied (five different values).  
Fausti Dea Sport side-by-side 12-ga shotgun

Only for the US market, the Fausti Dea Sport side-by-side 12-ga shotgun, built for clay shooting and featuring many innovative solutions. The new Fausti side-by-side is a mechanically robust and accurate shotgun; barrels are available in three lengths, 71-76-81 cm with magnum chamber and supplied with interchangeable internal chokes. Trigger is single-selective and stock is adjustable.

The Gamo Swarm Maxxim Gen2 air rifle is an updated version of the Swarm Maxxim gun with a an improved second generation 10x quick-shot magazine alignment system. The stock has been modified too; The Gamo Swarm Maxxim Gen2 is available in both 4.5 and .22 calibers. 
Gilboa Snake from Silver Shadow

The Gilboa Snake from Silver Shadow makes a comeback to the Shot Show. It's a double AR15 rifle, that shoots two .223 rounds, one from each of the perfectly mirrored AR actions with 16" barrels; the manufacturer claims the Snake uses only 100% compatible AR15 parts and the price is essentially... that of two AR's, benig a bit above 2000 USD. 
Kel-tec sub 2000

Kel-Tec showcased an integrally suppressed version of it's Sub 2000 pistol caliber folding semiauto carbine. It's Kel-Tec's first suppressed system, and is obviously also available with a standard barrel. The suppressed version shown here uses a 4.1-inch rifled barrel, uses Glock magazines the same ballistic performance as a Glock 19. The suppressor/barrel overall length is a bit over 16 inches. 
 Kel-Tec Sub 2000 folding carbine

The Sub 2000 folding carbine takes up very little space once folded, and can be easily transported in a backpack. The price in the US is about 1000 USD, plus the 200 NFA tax stamp for the suppressor. 
Marlin 1895 Dark lever rifle in .45/70 caliber

The Marlin 1895 Dark lever rifle in .45/70 caliber. You only have to look at the pictures to see why it's called "Dark": it sports a black matte parkerized finish of the metal parts coupled with a black-webbed hardwood stock. The barrel is 16.25" / 41 cm long, with a threaded muzzle.

Paracord wrapping is also present on the cocking lever of the Marlin 1895 Dark. The latter is of the "big loop" type to facilitate the use of the gun even when wearing thick winter gloves. 
Mossberg 940 JM Pro semiautomatic shotgun

Two versions of the Mossberg 940 JM Pro semiautomatic shotgun are available, both with 24” barrel and 10-round magazine capacity, differing for the color of the stock and forend, and trims. In the photo, Jerry Miculek with the Black MultiCam pattern version. Both guns are priced at 1015 USD.

From Mossberg, the 940 JM Pro semiautomatic shotgun: designed in conjunction with world champion shooters Jerry and Lena Miculek, the new platform is offered as a fast “competition-ready shotgun”, featuring a durable gas system, adjustable stock and a fiber optic HIVIZ TriComp sight system. 
Pedersoli 1886 Carbine

The Pedersoli 1886 Carbine is the shortest version of this classic lever repeater. Chambered in .45/70, it features a 19.6”/ 50 cm barrel, for an overall length of exactly one meter (39.37"). The tubular magazine under the barrel holds 6 rounds; MRSP is 1721 euro.

Savage M110 Elite Precision Series. These long range rifles feature a 26“ or 30“ stainless steel match barrel and a muzzle brake, MDT ACC light alloy chassis with a fully adjustable stock, separate vertical pistol grip, and long M-Lok forend.

The Savage M110 Elite Precision Series uses an AICS box magazine with 10 and 5 round capacity depending on the caliber; calibers available include .223 Rem., .308 Win., 6.5mm and 6mm Creedmoor, .300 Win. Mag., .300 Norma Mag., .300 PRC, and .338 Lapua Mag. The US prices start from 1999 USD. 
Savage Renegauge new 12-ga shotgun

The "Renegauge" is the first new 12-ga shotguns developed and produced by US manufacturer Savage Arms. Intended for hunters and competition shooters alike, Savage's first-ever semiautomatic shotgun features a Dual Regulating Inline Valve (D.R.I.V.) gas system that ensures full reliability with any load. Length of pull, comb height, drop and cast are all adjustable.

Four versions of the Savage Arms "Renegauge" 12-ga shotguns are available: the Field and Waterfowl, both with 26” or 28” barrel, and respectively black synthetic stock (MSRP 1.449 USD), and Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades camo (MSRP 1.549 USD); and the two Turkey models, both with with 24” barrel: the Bottomland, in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo (MSRP 1.549 USD), and Obsession, in Mossy Oak Obsession camo (MSRP 1.549 USD). 
 SIG Sauer Cross precision bolt-action

The first SIG Sauer precision bolt-action hunting rifle manufactured in the USA. With a foldable stock and a one-piece aluminum receiver, it's compact and light. With the Cross also comes the new .277 SIG Fury Hybrid Ammunition – the same 6.8x51 mm cartridge developed for the US Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon program. The Cross is also chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win. 
Thompson/Center Compass II Compact rifle

The Thompson/Center Compass II Compact rifle features a 16.5" threaded muzzle barrel with 5R rifling, 3 lug, 60° throw bolt, a detachable and flush fit rotary magazine, and integral scope mounts. It's available in .243, .308, .223, and 6.5CM; MSRP is only $405.

Not strictly a "rifle", the AirJavelin is a CO2 arrow rifle powered by an 88 g capsule for up to 15 shots: the arrow shot by the AirJavelin can reach 120 m/s. On a very long integrated Picatinny rail sits the front sight with fiber optic insert and, on the opposite side, the ghost ring rear sight.
