The high power .444 Marlin and .45/70 cartridges for which the Pedersoli Boarbuster is designed make this a very effective rifle for hunting all species of big hoofed animals
The Boarbuster lever action rifle designed by Davide Pedersoli has one unequivocal purpose in mind: hunting in the forest
Stefano Pedersoli presents us with the evolution of the Boarbuster inspired by the famous Winchester “Model 71”, with a 20" barrel, a gun designed for hunting instinctively in the forest
The grip of the Boarbuster rifle has a particular anatomical design which helps you hold the gun steady, in a precise and comfortable way
The Boarbuster, in the orange camo version, guarantees high visibility for driven hunts in the woods or when stalking game with your dogs
The rifle comes with a tunnel fast acquisition sight fixed to the rail. Colored fiber optic inserts help aim at your target in low visibility conditions
The stock of the Boarbuster, carved out of American walnut with a visible grain or camo design, has a microgel butt to help absorb recoil
The barrel of the Boarbuster is broach rifled, 19" long and has a blade sight on the muzzle. The tubular magazine, which extends to the muzzle, holds up to 5 shots
The Pedersoli Boarbuster is intended specifically for game shooting in the forest thanks to its compact design. Its overall length is 973 mm and it weighs just under 3.5 kg
The shots fired on the shooting range let us test the speed of the lever-action rearming system and how easy it is to handle and aim the 45/70 Boarbuster
We tested the rifle in a variety of shooting conditions that could be encountered in different hunting situations; shooting at a stationary or fleeing target, swinging, instinctive, in movement, with excellent results in all cases
At a range of 50 m shooting at a running target the spread was compact and precise, hitting vital points of the game
Pedersoli offers hunters the Boarbuster with the traditional red dot Konus Sight Pro
