Shooting the Colt King Cobra brings a smile! The double-action trigger of the test gun, which we were able to shoot extensively at the Industry Day at the Range, was extremely smooth and first-class.
Glock 43X

The Glock 43X combines the short profile of the 43 slide with the grip length of the Glock 19. The slim, single stack frame allows for 10 round magazines, a 4 round increase from the Glock 43's 6 round capacity. The magazine is the same of the Glock 48.

Looked sideways, the Glock 48 is the same size of the world renown 19... however, the thickness is not! This ultra-slim "slimline" pistol accommodates the same single-stack 10-round magazine of the 43X in a polymer frame and is designed for concealed carry without compromising handling and recoil control.

Keltec CP33 in .22LR rimfire semiauto pistol

The Keltec CP33 is a new .22LR rimfire semiauto pistol with a patented quad-stack 33 round magazine. The pistol features a 5.5 inch threaded heavy profile barrel; the bolt is enclosed and the upper receiver has a top picatinny rail for optics and accessories.

Magnum Research .500 Linebaugh revolver

Magnum Research is the only manufacturer to offer a production revolver in .500 Linebaugh, the BFR - "Big Frame Revolver": it's a single action gun available in four configurations, the standard model with a 7.5" or 5.5" barrel and the Bisley model again with 7.5" or a 5.5" barrel.
Mossberg MC1sc subcompact 9x19 pisto

Mossberg brings to market the MC1sc, a subcompact 9x19 pistol, after three years of development. It features a polymer frame and firing pin lock and single-stack magazine, but also four new patents, one of which concerns disassembly. The firing pin can be removed from the slide in a blink after removing the backplate. A full series of the gun may be in the works.

Shooting the Ruger SR1911 Competition pistol

Ruger has now launched a Custom Shop, featuring a limited number of tuned and refined versions of their guns. One of them is the Ruger SR1911 Competition, a classic all-steel pistol in 9 mm with a 10 round magazine, designed according to the ideas of Doug Koenig.

The Ruger SR1911 Competition has many interesting features such as a 5" / 127mm match barrel with 1-16" twist and polished feed ramp, match trigger with Koenig Shooting Sports low-mass hammer, and aluminum magwell.
SIG SAUER MPX Copperhead

The MPX Copperhead is an extremely compact version of the MPX platform in 9mm Luger; it uses an Elite Series Cerakote E190 Coyote finish upper receiver, with an integrated stock knuckle lower. The 3.5” barrel features an integral flash hider/muzzle brake, and the gun comes standard with the new SIG SAUER Pivoting Contour Brace (PCB).

The SIG Sauer P320 X-Compact. This brand-new pistol model features a 3.6” / 91mm barrel, flat trigger and X-Series slide with the X-Compact Polymer Grip module. The magazine holds 15 rounds.

Despite the double-stack magazine and a generous capacity of 15 rounds, the SIG Sauer P320 X-Compact is first-class in the hand. The short-reset trigger is quite convincing.

Stoeger introduces a new budget 9x19mm polymer-framed, striker fired pistol: the STR-9. It is priced less than 350 US$, and features a 4.17 inch barrel, black nitride finished slide, replaceable backstraps and a 15 round magazine.

ZEV Technologies introduces their first compete pistol, the O.Z-9. Fully modular, it uses an internal steel receiver while all other parts are interchangeable, allowing for grip changes and compatibility with Glock and ZEV parts.
